I can't find my friend on Facebook.
If you've blocked someone or they've blocked you, you won't see their profile. If you have additional Facebook profiles you’ll need to manage blocking from each of your profiles separately. Learn more about blocking on Facebook.
If you're having trouble finding someone you want to add as a friend, you can filter by their city, education, work and mutual friends.
To search for a friend by name:
  1. Click Search Facebook in the top left of Facebook and enter your friend's name, then press Enter.
  2. Click People in the left menu.
  3. You can choose to filter by city, education, work and mutual friends.

Note: When you search for friends by their networks, some people may not show up, depending on their privacy settings for the About section of their profile.
